Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka and is an actress, model and actor and model who has worked primarily within the Indian film industry. Fernandez was also crowned the winner in the prestigious 2005 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Fernandez came from a family of Canadian, Sri Lankan and Malaysian ancestry. She spent her early time in Bahrain. She earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Sydney and worked as a journalist for the TV from Sri Lanka for a considerable time before entering the modelling industry. In the wake of representing Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2006, she was one of the most sought-after models in Sri Lanka. In 2009, during her professional travels to India she was offered the role of Jasmine in Sujoy's film "Aladin" by SujoyGhosh'. It was in 2011 in which she portrayed the lead female role in Murder 2. Fernandez had a successful professional career after this film, it was both a hit at the box office as well as the critics. She has since starred in movies like Housefull 2 and 3, "Race 2," "Definition of Fear' as well as Judwaa 2. She has been the brand ambassador of various companies, and has won several honors. She is active in the community and she has been a patron of many charitable causes and organizations.
