Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a writer. Her most well-known work is her character on her role in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also was the director, producer and star in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson, born to a psychiatrist and the wife of Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Danielle is her sister, and is an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's acting career has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She appeared in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. While behind the lens, Benson used her talents as a writer to write the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy has spent hours and efforts to find them, says there are around 1800 Slayers worldwide, with 500 of them working with the Scooby Gang. Potentials now awaken as Slayers when they reach suitable maturation like the Slayer Soledad was awakened at the age of 16. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for the upcoming season of 10 Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious older-school witch.
