Mena Alexandra (born on February 13, 1979) is a model and actress from the USA. Soon after her first job as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut came in 1997's documentary Nowhere. Her performance in American Beauty, for which she received a BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more interest. She was a co-star with American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the main character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). The year 2002 saw her appearance in Spun the drama by an independent company and the 2004 thriller Trauma. She also appeared in the HBO drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 the show was awarded a nomination for an Best Cast of the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was seen in various films like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a model on behalf of Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's appeared on numerous blogs as well as fashion magazines such as Vogue. She is an activist and an avid supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's also involved in charities which fight breast cancer as well as End Violence Against Women.
